These are in very excellent shape and have been sprayed with a brand new coat of white paint. The kitchen owner wants to turn it into a very colorful kitchen (small kitchen in an apartment) with different cabinets doors in different (deco) colors. If I
understand correctly, spraying is the preferred method for a good finish, but
cans of spray paint will not do and I'm not sure if there is a place to take the
doors to spray them. Metal trim (which is quite evident around all the cabinets)at least, will have to be done in place.
Given all that:
1 Can I get a decent finish with a brush(roller)? If so, how?
2 What kind of sprayer could be used so that colors can be custom mixed and sprayed(in place or elsewhere)?
3 There is also a tightly louvered door that needs to be painted in the same small area. What's best for that?
3 Any tips on getting the best finish from a sprayer, I often end up with drips and splotches?
4 What type of paint is best in either case?
