Has anyone come across a ranking of paint by quality? ..a rating type review? .. recommendations of brand name?

I found some very beautiful Ralph Lauren colours but see that a lot of people have posted problems in use and coverage.

Consumer Reports would be a good place to check. I know they've done that in the past.

I've heard the Ralph paint isnt washable and comes off rather easily when trying to clean it.

The best thing you can do is go to a paint store and not a home center to get your paint as that is all they do and will give you the right paint for the job. If you love thoes RL colors the paint store can match them for you. If you buy the premium paint from any paint company you cannot go wrong as they are all pretty much equal.

I've done allot of painting over the years. I’d recommend Ben Moore and Behr paints. And I would definitely stay away from Dutch Boy, (it's water color).
