We live in the humid Mid-South area. Builder uses Farrell-Calhoun. Any thoughts?

I've never heard of that brand. I'm a Benjamin Moore fan myself and they have a mildew proof paint that also has some shine to it, making it rather resiliant. If it's over bare drywall, you need to use an oil primer under it.

I'm gone for the weekend, I'll check posts when I get back.

Good luck

I have not heard of that brand of paint but if you use it be sure to get the premium brand that they have in a eggshell finish to take the abuse it will get in a playroom.

The Duration Home from Sherwin Williams would also be a good choice.

It's a regional brand in from TX to FL, up to Mo and KY. We live in MS. I have heard different opinions on Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams, but we are getting their premium paint in an eggshell finish. Thanks.
