I had my kitchen repainted the same Behr color as before. The contractor bought the exact burnt orange color (I had the exact color for him.) There were three problems: After two coats of paint, it was incredibly streaky. It took forever for the paint to dry (five days). And the color was wrong (shrieking flourescent orange).
The third issue is partly the contractor's and my fault, because we should have checked the color before the serious painting took place. But I was wondering if anyone else has had seen these quality issues and knows how they might be resolved.
This painted has done a good job on other projects for me.

Hi Stoutsy,
Couple ?'s here...
1) Was the ACTUAL Behr paint used this 2nd time? OR, like some contractors do..was it matched into a cheaper-line they get good discounts on?!?!
2) How long between the paintjobs??
>>> Another point here...some painters aren't as good as they think they are!!
* Until late last year, I used to tint a lot of Behr (NOT at a big-box though!).
* Post back here with what color-name & tint-base was used...look on bottom-front of can.
