Mark Clement is a professional carpenter, author, and media personality, known for MyFixItUpLife, a home remodeling blog he developed with wife Theresa. In addition to editing Tools of the Trade Magazine and contributing to Popular Mechanics, Fine Homebuilding, Extreme How-To, and The Journal of Light Construction, Mark has appeared on PBS, DIY Network, and The Discovery Channel.
He has spent his whole life in home improvement and maintenance. Starting off young with mailbox fliers and his mom’s lawnmower, Mark went on to install seasonal docks on Cape Cod. Today, as a builder, he specializes in decks, custom sheds/home offices, basement finishing, and storm recovery. His novel, The Carpenter's Notebook, is a love story about a carpenter's son.
