We are looking to replace our roof, in the spring of 2007. We are considering metal roofing. I have looked for customer feedback, and don't come up with much. We live in central Louisiana, so high humidity and the potential for hurricane winds is a factor. Any comments or websites for this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I believe the Energy Star department has suggested roofing materials. They do have a list of Energy Star approved roofing materials. Many of these are Metal http://www.energystar.gov/ia/products/prod_lists/roof_prods_prod_list.pdf
it may be a good idea to find a Metal roof from that list.
