I recently installed a garage door opener and everything works fine. Although I have noticed that the weight of the door seems to loading down the garage door opener rail and it causes it to flex an inch or more when in the raised position. Upon closer inspection this seems to be due to the door sagging in the middle between the tracks. The door is wooden, sectional, and already has reinforcement straps on each panel. Should I replace these with heavier reinforcements or does some load on the opener rail matter? Thanks!

The reinforcement salesmen will hate me, but here goes.

Drill holes in a 6 ft section of bed frame and attach it to the top of the door. Voila!
