I live in a cold climate, and I know my enclosed porch will not be usable all year, but I want to increase its usable time as best I can. I am planning to insulate the walls, but I don’t know what to do with the floor. The floor is a concrete slab, more than 12” thick, and it gets very cold. Is there any insulation that can go on top of the floor? I saw some frost proof tile that I’d like to use, but it may be a waste of time if it can’t be insulated. What are your thoughts?

Hi there. I found a very helpful article about insulating the porch floor here. You can try this DIY project. http://bit.ly/1qlY5AN
