I built our house and used all Pozzi windows. Every window facing the west has failed, all the seals have failed and there is misting in every window. Before Jeld Wen bought them Pozzi was great to deal with, replaced windows and parts quickly and without argument nor delay.
Jeld Wen however is a different story, they are battling even though the claim was opened, they scheduled a contractor to inspect whom they subsequently had a falling out with, all before the warranty slips to percentages covered and they acknowledged the problem existed via the claim number and date.
Has anyone had success with Jeld Wen and having them honor the stated warranty any suggestions?

Yes Pozzi was easier to deal with. JELD-WEN is painfully slow, 3 months just to acknowledge an order. I am now filing my 3rd claim with JELD-WEN. I installed 105 windows in my new home in 2003 (72K), I have had 23 fail and counting. It is a know fact, admitted by Pozzi that they had glue issues and this is why these windows are failing. From fogging to water leaks causing rotting wood, you name it its happing with these windows. Since Pozzi knew they were at fault it was easy and fast to get replacements no questions asked. After JELD-WEN has taken over they are a nightmare to deal with. Heck they cant even send the right size window. Let me tell you its no fun waiting 5 month for a replacement window. Upon tearing the defective one out, finding the replacement 1 inch to big and wont fit. Then having to put the defective one back in and wait another 5 months for them to get it right. JELD-WEN wont acknowledge the manufacture defect. They need to replace every failing window due to manufacturing defects period, at no cost to the end user. THEY WONT ! THERE NEEDS TO BE A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT !

Pozzi/Jeld has a big problem with their window quality. I can get better quality windows at Loews/Home Depot for a bunch cheaper with never any fogging problems. Possi/Jeld should pay all the replacement costs of their defective windows. All they do is give you the run around for as long as they can. The only way to stop them is to put them out of business. If you've got Pozzi windows, you've got or will have big problems. It's to late for you, new buyers be ware.

DO NOT BUY POZZI/JELD WINDOWS....PERIOD.
