We own a Whirlpool top load washer, model number WTW58ESVW1, serial number CY3340202. Until recently, the washer has worked fine. Lately, sometimes when you start the washer, it starts agitating before it even starts to fill. When this happens, the clothes come out soaking wet, and we have to run the spin cycle again. This problem is very sporadic and comes and goes at will. It will happen a couple of loads, then runs fine for the next few. What may be the culprit to this problem and what do I need to check. Thanks.

I have the same problem. what did you do to fix this?
WTW58ESVW1, interesting it happens only on normal wash. On quick wash it fills, washes, and spins fine. On normal wash, the agitation and fill start simultanously, after spin the washer starts the optional second rinse (even though it wasn't selected)but doesn't spin dry. If however you select the 2nd rinse option it will spin dry

Leaks from top. Less than 2yrs old. The top loader when spraying into fabric softener also makes the water hit the side and run off the top. Possibly missing side plastic guard when sold to me. Then When further investigating the tub dropped down on its base as if barely attached. What a POS. Will never buy from whirlpool again.

Have a HE Whirlpool Topload washer and the fabric softner dispebeer will not drain. Have poured hot water to hopefully break the clog. Apparently that just a quick fix.
How do I unclog this dispenser.
This dispenser is not a pull out drawer

I have a top load Whirlpool washer mod wtw4815ew1. It fills when you start it but as soon as it's full it drains without running the agitator, then has a green light for done. I've checked the lid lock and that's fine. It will spin out if switched to drain and spin but not in any other cycles. I have 2 kids and a husband and the laundry is pilling up quickly! I have read and watched more how to videos then I ever thought there would be for this, and I'm just not sure what direction to go. Thanks!

My Whirlpool washer recently has had several issues. 1. The lid lock randomly turns on when not in use. It made a clicking noise like it was trying to fill, again when not on. 3. Deep water wash does not put any more water than usual in. What do I do for any of these problems? Currently unplugging when not in use.

I have a skirt on the bottom of the agitator that traps small items. when it starts to agitate it makes a grinding noise. I can sometime put my hand between the tub and the skirt and remove the object. However, this time I need to get the agitator off. I can get the fabric softner holder off and the screw out of the top but cannot pull the agitator off. HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP

Call appliance tech. That's what they get paid for...just like what you do for a living, you get paid because you are good at it. Nothing is free, call the man and get it done right. These loser forums are padding their pockets and they mostly have no clue what they are talking about. 25 year appliance tech here and there's no possibility of me being able to diagnose your washer by phone or inter et with any high level of certainty......and these ppl who answer you here haven't even been living as long as I been working lol, so think about that.

These forums are great. They help people that can't afford to pay someone $100 just to get started only to find a $5 part needs replaced taking a whole 15 minutes to fix. Even with travel time the repairman is making $50-$60 in less than a .5 hour. Boo hoo tech man.

What are these loser forums padding their pockets with? And how do you know how old the people answering the questions are? LOL, idiot.
