My AC is about 4 years old and has never given me any issues with cooling. This summer it is difficult to cool home during our South Texas summer. I had never had this issue before. The ONLY thing that has changed is I had a new roof installed. Prior to install I had a turbine vent with 2 gavel vents; 1 on east and 1 on west. Now the roofer installed a ridge vent as well. I have ridge vent, turbine exhaust and the 2 gavel vents. Could this be causing the extra heat in home? Btw AC techs have checked my AC that is okay.

There are several potential problems, such as is the summer temperatures hotter than past years. What is the insulation level in your attic. Are there any ducts in the attic and if so are they sealed and insulated. Have you had the attic air sealed to prevent air infiltration/exfiltration? A blower door test along with an infrared inspection can determine what the problem is and how to solve the problem. Any other process will not give you the actual problems and solutions.
