While installing our new bathroom floor, we accidentally hit the tub with a hammer and chipped off a quarter size piece of the finish. Is there anyway to repair this? The best thing I can come up with is to touch it up with enamel paint and match it up best I can.

As a bathtub refinisher, i suggest looking in the Yellow Pages for a bathtub repair person. You could try doing it yourself with some Bondo spot putty and then airbrushing the color back in, but it takes some work to get the color exactly the same as your tub. A chip repair doesn't cost that much and it would also save a headache.
