I'll be on vacation for a little over a week and don't know how I should leave the place while I'm away and it's freezing cold.

Do you all recommend I shut off the water main? Or just close the valves to the washing machine? Should I flip the breaker off for the water heater? How about the range and other electrical stuff?

I was planning on leaving the thermostat at 65.

My main concern is fire hazards, followed by water problems with pipes bursting and causing damage. Any recommendations on how to minimize these two risks while away?
