** it does evrything but drain **
You first stated it wouldn't "spin". Now you're saying it won't "drain". Has the problem changed?
** now its leaking **
At what part(s) of the cycle and from where on the machine??
Please clarify the actual symptom(s) being experienced.

ok at first it wasnt spinning becaus it wasnt draining which it still isnt now and it has started tp leak
OK have you verified that the lid switch at least makes that click sound when you put the cover down?
it's on the right hand side and there is a little arm on the lid that pushes it down when you close the lid.
it prevents it from spinning when the lid is open for safety reasons.

The machine will attempt to spin whether it drains or not. The machine doesn't know the difference.
If it stopped spinning AND draining *together*, the lid switch could be the problem as Larry suggested.

Another symptom of a lid switch failure would be the timer 'sticks' at that one place in the cycle and never moves through to the rest of the cycle on its own.
