This past June I had my crawlspace waterproofed. Before then, the crawlspace would often be filled with water. Since the work was done, I've noticed an area in my living room where there are bumps in the floor.

What's caused these bumps? Could it have something to do with the fact that the floor joists had been exposed to so much moisture before? How do I fix it? If I don't fix it, what will happen?

Any advice would be appreciated!

There is really no possible way to answer this question without being able to inspect the problem first hand. Answers you get online would be a guess at best. Contact a local contractor to look at it and give you an estimate.
