It's probably been asked way too many times but it is ok to use galvanized pipe for gas? I was told that any gas lines that may be exposed to the elements have to be done in galvanized pipe as black pipe will rust. Is that true? Also, are there any restrictions against the use of galvanized pipe indoors? I live in California. Thanks.

Galvanized pipe may be used anywhere black pipe can be used for gas. Black pipe may not be used out doors without wrapping or painting the entire pipe.

Good Luck
