Hello!

I have a 1973 built house that has copper pipes. About a year ago, as the main shutoff to the house (not at the meter) did not shutoff properly, it was replaced with a gate valve. At the same time we replaced the garden hosebibb with a new one as well. After a few months the gate valve didn't shut off completely, and the hosebibb was drippingas well. Replaced the hosebibb and found that inside had rust, and parts of it was "missing". Replaced it. It just started dripping again (about 6 months after replacing it), and I find that area around where the rubber washer is is completely rusted.

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Emil
