I have an old Stuart Warner Furnace installed in 1974. The Heat exchanger has a hole in it. I would like to replace the part because the furnace has a very high btu rating. Can anybody tell me who bought out this company...Looks like they were in business by that name until 1976. (the exchanger looks like a piece of corrugated metal roofing)

Thanks ahead of time

I have a Stewart Warner LP gas furnace, model MBC-3-80 (very old). Normally after it heats to set thermostat temp, the fan will turn on to cool the components (the inside thermostat I'm guessing and/or the fan also). But now it suddenly will only turn the fan on for a couple seconds to cool, turn off, then come on again for a few seconds; it does this for about 5 minutes or so rather than just staying on continuously until the unit is cooled.
Any suggestions as to what the fault is? The fan and heating function works fine it's just the cooling session that is not working as it has.
