In April of this year we purchased a home which recently had a high efficiency hvac system installed in August of 2002. It is a York Diamond 90. It also has a little dial on the left side of the unit called "Aprilaire" which appears to be a humidifier control. I do not know how to use it etc. Also, on the floor setting next to the unit is a Condensation removal pump mf'erd by the Little Giant Pump Co (#VCMA-15ULS) along with the tube going outside. The appears to have a lot of water setting in it. For the last week whenever the air cond cycles off, water runs out the lower left side of the unit onto the floor. Is my pump not working? How do I troubleshoot this? Any help and info on the Aprilaire device and troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. However, I could not get the hose off of the pump. Also, the installers seemed to have permantely installed the pump to the side of the unit. They have the PVC pipe cut to the exact length which does not allow me to much wiggle room to do anything. I did however manage to lift the lid of the pump a little and moved the float up and down, then plugged it back in and watched it suck up some of the water but not all of it. Seems to be flowing outside so it appears our pump is bad or at least the float switch in the unit.
