Right now I have a light/fan combo in my bathroom and just one switch for it. I would like to install a light/fan/heat combo, but want to have different switches. Can I do this just having the one right now?

You will need to add more ires from the devices to the switches you want to install.

Broan makes a combo unit switch i believe, 3 switches in one 'space'.

however, as joed alludes, this will entail anoother wire from switch to fan/light/heat unit.

another consideration is the ampacity that a heater unit takes, often the manufacturer requires a dedicated circuit in the installation instructions.

hope this helps

thanks for the information, i am now leaning toward just getting a light/fan combo and make it a double switch so each can be turned on seperatly.
