I saw an ad some time ago for "siding support clips," used to hang long lengths of lap siding alone. I've since lost track of the trade magazine I saw them in, but as I recall, they were made of thin metal and shaped like a small Z - to hang on top of the previous course, and support the next course at the bottom.
Does anyone know about these - what they're called and who makes them?
