We have a problem w/the bathroom ceiling.
It was painted w/Benjamin Moore eggshell finish (2 coats) approx. 2 years ago. The paint has been cracking and peeling over the sink the past couple of months.
Looks like we need to scrape off the paint and repaint.

Any tips on why this might be happening?
Any suggestions are appreciated

There was probably some type on contamination on the ceiling that is causing this peeling as bathrooms can be a pretty dirty place with all the steam from showers and soap and such.
You will need to scrape and sand to remove all the loose paint and then wash the walls/ceiling with a solution of 3 quarts of water, 1 quart of bleach & 1/2 cup of TSP and rinse with clear water.
The finish paint that I have had sucess with is Perma-White from Zinsser and it comes in satin or semi-gloss.
