I would like to know how to remove the Ralph Lauren Brushed Suede from the walls. I have had it for 4 yrs and everyone always compliments me on the paint, so much so my neighbor even did the same to one of her rooms. But to tell you the truth I never really like how it turned out. And I now want to remove it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can't remove it. This is what you do:

Apply two coats of Glidden Ultra-Hide Gripper (Primer) - then one coat of any of the RL topcoats (flat or eggshell would be best)

Both of these products are available at The Home Depot.

I think that you would want to sand the walls to smooth them out and you can do this with a sander that attaches to the end of a roller extension pole. The paint will not make the walls smoother no matter how many coats you apply and this suede does have a texture to it.

Actually, the method I mentioned will work - recommended by Glidden (manufacturer of RL Paint).

Sanding River Rock is like sanding sandpaper - it doesn't work too well.

Do as I said - it will work
