How long do I need to wait after tile setting and grouting to move my refridgerator and range back into my kitchen? My living room is pretty crowded. I set the tiles 1 week ago and grouted friday and sunday afternoons. I will seal the grout when the can tells me it is ok.

How long do I wait until I can scrub off the last bit of film with a brush? Thanks.

If you are talking about grouting film the quicker the better. Should have gotten it all off when cleaning the grout. But sometimes, specially with textured tile it will hang in not be noticed until it dries.

Get on it now or as soon as you get home.

You want a stiff brush, rough cloth (like burlap) and white Scotch bright. Anything rought that will not mark the tile.

And if that does not work with water. You can try some white vinegar. But try to limit it to the spots and keep it off the grout.

If that does not help then get a grout remover where you got the grout. Read the instructions.

As far as using the floor you can do that 24 hrs after grouting.

The tile is Brasillian ceramic.
It is a gravely texture.
Mops shread both sponge and string.
Any suggestions on cleaning?
