I recently installed two different Enbrighten lighting products around my home: the Eternity Landscape Lights in the front yard and the Modern Café Lights along the backyard fence. I have to say, I’m pretty impressed.

Starting with the landscape lights: Setup was ridiculously easy. The box comes with three light strands and a length of extension cord, which made it simple to bridge the gap between two separate grassy areas in my front yard. The 12 lights cover about 50 feet, but they can be extended up to 150 feet by connecting up to three additional kits. Each light sits on a sturdy stake that pops into the ground—no tools, no headaches. I love that the heads rotate so that users can aim the light exactly where they want it. I’ve got them highlighting some larger shrubs and trees, and the effect is subtle but beautiful. It’s enough glow to make the yard feel polished without being over the top.

The café lights are also fantastic. I strung the Modern Café lights along the backyard fence, and they look great. This set has 24 bulbs on a 48-foot cord, and multiple strings can be connected to provide up to 750 feet of lighting. The design feels premium—the thick, rubberized cords feel strong and durable, and the solid glassy bulbs give off a warm, modern vibe. They feel like they’ll hold up great in the Florida humidity and heat. I love that I can leave them up year-round and just change the color palette with the seasons.

Now, let’s talk about the app. It works. It does everything I need it to. But it’s the one area that feels slightly lacking, especially compared to the hardware. Occasionally, it’ll freeze up if I tap the wrong part of the screen, and I’ll have to restart it. Not a huge issue, but for products that otherwise feel so well-designed, the glitches stand out a little. The Enbrighten lights are also compatible with Google Home and Alexa.

The color options are great. Using the app, I cycled through a bunch of preset lighting themes—everything from Christmas to Halloween—and yes, since I tested these in July, I definitely gave the patriotic red, white, and blue setting a try. In addition to the presets, users can choose almost any color and combination of lights using a color palette on the app. The app settings are the same for both the landscape and café light sets, so it’s easy to create a cohesive look between the front and back of the house or separate them to create different moods. Also, while I love the super bright option at night (they really glow), it’s great to have the option to dim them down a little for more subtle lighting.

As for the price, yes, they’re more expensive than average string or spot lights (about $200 for the café lights and $130 for the landscape set), but the quality supports the higher price. I’ve tried the cheaper stuff before, and it rarely lasts. These feel like the kind of investment that’ll keep working year after year.

One month in, I’m loving the look, the durability, and the simplicity. I’m keeping both sets installed—and honestly, I’m already eyeing where I might add more.
