We're from Montana...purchased a Ready-To-Move home from Canada. Great Idea. Bad company. The contractor went bankrupt and we forced delivery of what was completed to date. Mainly a finished home, but with only a scratch coat (for stucco) as siding. Having paid for the stucco once already and faced with doing so again, we got a bid from an American mason and were floored at the cost. Now we're concidering covering the whole thing plus site-built attached garage with fiber cement. Question is...can it be installed over the scratch coat on the house? We're at witts (and pocket book's) end...and need help.
