I have an outlet a foot off the ground and want to ultimately run hand a ceiling light near this location. Would it be possible to run a switch from this outlet first and then run a line from the switch to the light? Or do i have to split the wiring before the outlet and run into the outlet and switch separately?
I searched the forums and didn't see anything specific to this.
