I live in the Reading Pennsylvania area. I personally have collected hardware and have access to a source of hardware manufactured in Reading.

If you are more specific as to the details of the hardware you are looking for I might be able to help.

I also have a collection of antique and Reading made furniture hardware including locks, escutcheons, knobs, pulls, keys, furniture latches, locks, and decorative trim. (I also recently bought a parts cabinet from an antique dealer that retired. It has 50 drawers of parts.)

(The 18-unit building I live in was built circa 1920 and each unit has approx 6 doors with these RKW bit key mortice sets. They need a little TLC after 90 years(?)...)

I am working on 3 church front door locks. The exterior brass has been refinished and looks great, but I found the Reading Hardware Company double mortise locks in need of some TLC. One side plate was cracked has been welded, the lock cylinder "holder" on all 3 need help, 2 have a weak spring on the passage lock. All 3 (6 tumblers have been replaced). I live in Philadelphia PA, as is the stone church built in 1869 and completed in 1894. Of the three mortise locks 1is complete by scavenging parts from the other two. If you have parts Reading is not that far away.
