I am looking for a manual or some way of identifying how to mount the Sears 40" Snow Thrower, Model# 842-240711 to its lawn tractor.

This manual is no longer available and all we can find is the schematic showing the parts.

Please help if you can.

Thank you.

I have the manual you are looking for.

How can I get a copy to you?

I read your post and was wondering if you were able to send/email that manual. i am researching this model snowblower attachment (I am considering buying-used) to see if it will fit my tractor- not having much luck, except for your post...

I am not sure if the manual is the key, but was thinking that if I could see how this unit is supposed to mount via the manual, I could confirm this?

Anyway, if you could help i'd appreciate it very much!

Hi, I just read you have a copy of the manual for this snowblower - is there any way I could get a copy, either electric or photocopy - from you - I am willing to reimburse you for any expenses involved.

Can you post the belt information about type and length?
