I own a 3 bedroom ranch style home with a basement. It has a small front porch, I am wanting to extend the porch to make it larger but am unsure how or where to start? I looks like the base is made of concrete blocks and held together by concrete, then there is a concrete slap over top of it. I am wanting to keep it the same width but extend it outward to meet the walkway, maybe 5 feet. HELP.....
