We bought timbertech xlm desert bronze because it looked so much like real wood.Well, 10 months after installation, we noticed white chalking streaks throughout the deck.I understand this is a new product,but really, come on, you dont do testing on this with heat and sun.Lifetime, you got to be kidding me.Anyway, i contacted timbertech, and as soon as i received my paperwork i immediately sent in my 8 pictures along w/ my complaints..I then followed up on it within two weeks. The next day, i got to tell you, Dave from Deck Mate came by and cleaned and applied this "miracle" product.. It looks like the day it was installed.. Let's see how long it lasts...I do give kudos, to timbertech, in that they proceeded very quickly to rectify my problem.. Do not do this yourself, let them come by and apply, then you'll know it is done the right way.. So far, we are very happy and Dave was a doll..
