I just tore up the old bathroom floor and it has old galvanized steel pipes criscrossing through it. They are all disconnected now as I have all new copper pipes. My question is how to cut the old galvanized out of the way? Some of them are in very tight areas without much clearance. I've tried using a pipe wrench to unscrew them but they just won't budge. Are there small cutters available for galvanized?? This is keeping me from putting in the floor I want as I will not be able to have a floor that is more than 3/4 inch thick if I can't get rid of those pipes.
