I am looking for suggestings for paint colors for our new home?
We haven't moved in yet but it has a 4 seasons sunroom that faces south, has 3 large windows and gets a lot of sunlight. The windows have faux wood blinds on them but we also want to paint the room.
What colors would be a good choice if we don't want to be blinded every time we use the room?
Thanks,
Angela

But I hired one recently for a similar situation. The recommendation was Kelly Moore Sand Pebble on most walls with Rockford as an accent color. The sand pebble is a beige with green tones and rockford is a dark brown with reddish tones. It came out looking great and really took away the glare of the builder's white, and accented the wood, granite, saltillo finishes in the home.
You know, for about $200 we hired a decorator for consultation, and she saved us more than her costs. I hate picking out colors, and have always picked pale beige tones. Its worth getting a pro to help with color, placement, furniture and flooring selections at the building stage you are at.

Thank you very much. I never even thought of hiring a decorator. I thought they were only for the rich and famous. We were at the new place last night trying to pick out colors and I got so frustrated. I think I'll look into hiring someone for consultation. Thanks for the idea and I'm going to look into that paint color too.
Thanks again,
Angela
