Set your alarms: Registration for the giveaway will open on April 30 at 12:00 a.m. EDT and close on May 12, or until supplies last. Judging by the overwhelming popularity of plant and seed giveaways in the past, these flowers may go quickly, so we’d recommend signing up sooner than later. Interested customers can sign up on the Lowe’s website. Confirmed participants can pick up their flower at their local Lowe’s store on May 14 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

While the giveaway is to celebrate Mother’s Day, anyone can take advantage of the opportunity to take home a potted flower. And while Lowe’s doesn’t specify the type of flower that will be given away, the store is fairly conscientious about stocking plants that do well in local regions, so Mom will likely get something appropriate for her area.

This isn’t the first time Lowe’s has offered a promotion like this. SpringFest in 2021 included free garden kits that were scooped up quickly. Most recently, they’ve been giving away free power tools. So keep an eye on the company’s website for more giveaways in the near future.

Lowe’s also offers valuable resources for anyone looking to improve their home or learn new DIY skills. Check out their events page for information about upcoming events and workshops, including seasonal activities like pumpkin carving and Christmas tree decorating.

One of the key features that set Lowe’s apart from its competitors is its MVPs Pro Rewards Program. This program is designed for professionals in the construction and home improvement industry. Members of the program enjoy discounts, free shipping, and personalized support. With a pro membership, businesses can save money and get the help they need to complete their projects.

But Lowe’s isn’t just focused on professionals. They’ve also expanded their offerings to families with kids. In addition to their free events, they now offer kids’ birthday parties in some of their stores. These parties include 2-hour activities that get the whole group engaged, like building birdhouses and planting flower pots. In the end, every guest walks away with a DIY favor.

If you’re looking for a way to surprise your mom this Mother’s Day, head over to the Lowe’s website on April 30th and register for your free pint-sized flower pot.
