Long story short.
Ordered flooring for living room and kitchen which are 1 single space joined together.
Company installed CARPET in the living room before ripping up the floor in the kitchen. I questioned this and they claimed if they stapled down the ends of carpet as if it was butting up against the new kitchen floor it would be fine.

My fear is that they have to rip out 3 generations of linoleum and a severely uneven floor in the kitchen before laying new floor.

What are the chances they are going to ruin the brand new carpet they just installed by ripping up this floor?

If the same company is doing the floor that did the carpet I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't worry about it anyway no way.
