I have tried my best in the past years, to eliminate cigarette odors with constant cleanings, to no avail. Yet one day, my higher power gave me the idea to use Apple Cider Vinegar as a solution to the stench. Could this possibly be to answer?
So I tried it by leaving the Apple Cider Vinegar in an open cup inside each of my rooms, with the doors closed, as well as in my vehicle. An low and behold, my Higher Power is right. After 24 hours of allowing the undiluted Apple Cider Vinegar to permeate through the room, I could not smell the cigarette stench no more. The rooms and vehicle, all smelled fresh and habitable, without scrubbing.
Later I researched the many benefits of vinegars, which were once even used in medicine for all things and of course in dietary recipes. All for $3.00 a gallon in grocery stores.
Now I even use straight vinegar to kill unwanted vegetations.
Is there a problem using this around materials, such as a chemical reactions of any sort.
