I have a switch in the kitchen that turns on my inground pool light. After some repairs by a pool company my switch no longer turns on my pool light. There is a black breaker type switch on the pool sub panel that will turn the pool light on and off but when turned on it pops the breaker on my main panel that the indoor switch is on. The pool light stays on despite the breaker for the lights switch being popped. If the pool light is off at the subpanel and I turn on the inside pool light switch it pops the breaker on my main panel even though the pool light is still off at the subpanel. When I explain this to my local pool company they say that’s impossible and offered no solution. I am looking for any insight to help direct me to a possible problem thank you Sue
