Hi, I have tried looking thru posts but can not seem to find an answer on how I figure out if my "new" 1950's home has drain/weep tile. There is not discharge into my sump pump so I am presuming if I do have tile it is gravity fed. I'd rather not start digging (how far if I do have to) if I can help it.

The reason I am asking is that water is coming up where wall meets basement floor. No water or moisture on walls, no water coming thru floor cracks. I have one corner that always gets wet with moderate+ rain and 2 more corners that get wet in heavy rain. Of course it is all the corners other than the sump pump corner, not sure if there is a reason for that.

I am trying to look at all options to "fix" or relieve me squeezing the basement during wet days and melting snow.

Thank you in advance for you assistance.

Sincerely,
