My house has white aluminum siding which has held up and looks great except for two spots - the panels around the lights on both my front porch and back porch. Both panels are covered in dark rust red stains that are the remains of various bugs flying into the lights. Nothing I have tried has been able to remove these stains. Not power washing. Not bleach. Will I have to repaint my house or is there a solution I haven’t tried? And if I do repaint, how do I keep more kamikaze bugs from re-staining the new paint job, short of not using outside lights?
