Crawl Space Insulation
I have a crawl space under my kitchen, dining room , TV room that has a concrete floor. This was an addition. The rest of my house is on slab. There is a sump pump and one duct that goes to a supply in my kitchen toekick. Otherwise, the crawl space is empty. There is one access door in my TV room. In the summer, I don't even really need as much AC as it stays quite cool even with southern facing windows. So of course in the winter, the area is colder than needed. I haven't insulated as I heard that it could cause mold. But I really need to do something. I saw a product called Reflectix that looked like it may do the trick, but not so sure if it's the right kind of insulation. What type of insulation do you suggest? Thank you.
