After resetting tripped breaker the circuit is still dead

Came home and found one room where the lights and the plugs were not working. Checked and the breaker was tripped. Thought this will be easy and reset the breaker. The circuit was still dead. Checked and found out that an outside plug was also on the circuit with a GFI plug. It wasn't tripped but I Tripped it and reset it, thinking that will fix it. Circuit still dead. HELP!
