I have a kenmore 3 yrs old the dryer heats up but the clothes are as wet as when I put them in 4 hours later. When I open the dryer it hot but very moist like a moist heating pad effect.Could there be a clog somewhere in the dryer you cant see or feel that could cause this.

This happened to us. Our vent pipe was heavily clogged with lint and after we disconnected it and cleaned out the lint, the drier dried things much faster.

** Could there be a clog somewhere in the dryer you cant see or feel that could cause this. **

It is unlikely a clog *in the dryer* (besides maybe the lint filter) but is very likely a clog in the dryer vent somewhere *from the dryer all the way to the outdoors*.

You can read about dryer venting at the following link:

It could also possibly be caused by a defective blower fan in the dryer or poor drum seals but those are much less likely IMO.
