We have a Kenmore Elite washer, MDD 110 20952 992. It fills with water but will not empty of water or spin. It just hums. We cannot hear the timer running and think it stops. We first noticed a leak underneath, and found a hose that was worn out. We replaced that hose that goes from the pump to the tub, but it still does not work. I put the clothes in to wash and did not check on the washer while it was running through the cycle. When I went to check, the clothes were sitting in a little water. At first the agitator would not move, but after replacing the hose, it now goes in both directions. Should we replace the couplers?

Just "think" it stops? Where was it when you looked at it?
** Should we replace the couplers? **
There is only one coupler and it would affect both agitate and spin but not draining. It would also to affect movement of the timer.
