Hey guys I need some help. My Kenmore refrigerator model 5673 is not cooling BUT the freezer is. When I put my had up against where the cold air is supposed to come out of there is barely anything coming out. The weird thing is when I open the freezer side and then I put my hand up against the same thing I do notice a significant increase in the cold air. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
Thanks!

I'm afraid that is not a correct model number. You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

** refrigerator [side] is not cooling BUT the freezer is. **
You can read about some possible causes for that symptom at the link below. Each would have to be inspected/tested one at a time until the cause in your case is isolated.
- My frost free refrigerator is not cooling properly. What might be the problem?

I am having the same problem. I have a Kenmore Side By Side, Model106.5364300. The Freezer seems to be working fine, the Fridge side is not cooling. When I put my hand near the vent inside the fridge, I feel a very slight flow of cool air coming through fairly constantly. I have vacuumed the coils underneath the fridge and also turned the fridge off and then back on, but it hasn't helped. What can I do next?
Just. Like everyone else, the freezer side is good but the fridge side is not staying cool. I have to defrost it about every 3-4 weeks to keep the fridge food cold. We replace the bi-metal thermostat and cleaned the coil under the side by side and got rid of all frost build up. That lasted no time its back to its old ways. I can hear the fan going. Anybody have and clue what this might be? I dont have the cash to hire a tech to come look at it. Kenmore 106.57989700.
