Are there any products similiar to decodrain for installing a trench drain across the center of my brick patio to keep water away from the house. Due to the soil expanding, my patio no longer drains away from the house. I would like to cut out a 4" in trough and put a metal covered drain. I can't seem to locate a product anywhere.

Yes, there a many products in the construction market for this application. Best way to browse them is to go to a good search engine (like Google) and type in "trench drains". You'll get many hits. Most prefabricated trench drains today use composite materials for the channel, not metal. It will last longer. Some companies manufacture decorative grates, some don't. The better grates are cast iron.
