My wife has been bugging me for some time to get an above ground pool. Problem is my entire back yard is all septic field. You cannot cover the tiles because they need the rain water to help with the process correct? Is there any way around this if it is true? Thanks

I'm not a septic man, but the whole septic system/drainfield rely on evaporation. If you cover your field with anything like this you ruin the evaporative process.
If you cover your tank you won't be able to pump it out in case of any problems.
I don't know if the rainwater is needed. I've never heard of that problem.
If anyone else has any thing other than what I posted listen to them, but I wouldn't do it.
Good luck,

It's not rain water that is needed. Rainwater is bad. it Floods your tile field. It's drainage that is needed. Do not put the pool over the septic field.
