I am building a window seat/chest out of MDF. I am just starting and I am having problems already. When I am trying to screw/nail two pieces together how do I do it. They wont stand up by themself, so I cant do it. I am getting sooo frustrated!! :O(

Whenever I would assemble projects in my shop I would use clamps as holders. They act as portable vises or an extra pair of hands and make things easier to put together. I started using them on the job for larger projects. There are all types of clamps that can help but one of the most useful types for balancing things while assembling are called hand screws. They are wooden clamps that have fairly long handles that even hold sheet stock while you nail or screw it. Try them, and while you're in the store look at the other types of clamps that are very useful in many ways.....MJH
