My Landlord was kind enough to install a new , but used, furnace (Byrant)last week. The old one worked fine but he thought the new one would be more efficient in this old farmhouse. It has been installed for about a week now. We notice a MUCH improved volume of forced air in most rooms but the air is cooler than the old furnace. Is there an adjustment that the service tech needs to make? For some odd reason the rooms that were traditionally harder to keep warm are now toasty warm and the rooms that were always warm are now much cooler. The bedrooms are another story, hardly any air coming out, much cooler upstairs than it used to be.
I have called the tech back, have not talked to him directly though. Any thought about what I should make sure he does?
