i am in the middle of remodelling my basement,i am using metal studs to frame the walls to be... can i just run electrical wiring between the studs like the old fashioned way,drilling holes in the wooden studs and feed the wire through.any thoughts or comments would be great..thanks

You need the plastic grommets used for this purpose. The steel studs have holes pre-cut. The edges are very sharp and may cut the wire.

thanks for the advice.. so as long as i put the grommets in the hole everything will be okay?? I don't have to run conduit in the studs though right??? thanks again
