I am a little lost. I understand the concept of three way switches, but I am a little confused on how to add a second light to the configuration. I have 14-2 running to the first switch, then 14-3 running to the first light, then 14-3 going the other switch. HOW DO I ADD A SECOND LIGHT ON THIS CIRCUIT??? Please help!!! THANK YOU!
If you understand the switches, then all you need to know is that the second light must be parallel with the first light in the circuit. It cannot go between the 2 switches.
Another way to put it is that the second light must be on the same "side" of the switches as the first. And the current flow cannot go through both lights in series.
You can have: Lights, Switch, Switch
You can have: Switch, Switch, Lights
You cannot have: Switch, Light, Switch, Light
You cannot have: Light, Switch, Switch, Light
